DEAR COUSIN
Well my friend the time has come
To walk on the other side of the sun
To take the hand of the others before you
On this wonderful stage you will not need a cue
No pain, no strife, no agony
Just back in the arms of your family
The family that first made you strong
The family that continued to let you know you belonged
Your mom and dad, Carol and Mel
Have set a place for you, such stories they will tell
A warm and comforting place
To also reminisce with Bob and Grace
Your grandmothers and grandpas will all be there too
And everyone will be there to comfort you
So even though this is a sad day for most
